‘Horse Over Crow’ is a 36″ x 50″ oil painting on archival Mylar. Animals make powerful metaphorical symbols and figure prominently in much of my paintings. In Native American lore, Horse and Crow often share an affinity. In this work, a Blanket Appaloosa jumps over a crow forming a protective arch, while the crow calmly watches from below. This is a sizable painting and will definitely make an impact in whatever environment you hang it.
