Fulani Derived Description:
‘Fulani Derived’ depicts a painting inspired by a woman of Fulbe or Fulani descent. It’s rendered in burnt umber and creams tones with visible brush strokes, a result of working alla prima or in one session instead letting the work dry between layers.
‘Fulani’ is an archival pigment reproduction of an original oil painting. It’s available as a metal or canvas print.

Archival Metal Print
Specially treated aluminum panels form the base of archival metal prints. During the creation process, UV resistant Epsom sublimation dyes are embedded directly into the metal panel’s surface to create a durable, highly detailed print that appears to glow from within. All archival metal prints are rated to resist fading for over 65 years. They come ready to hang with a keyhole slotted backing, and can also be mounted into a traditional frame.
Museum-Quality Canvas
Canvas prints are made from an archival poly-cotton blend imbued with a special optical enhancing coat that provides maximum brightness and widens the gamut of available visible color. The low profile texture of this specialized canvas means finer details and less light reflection so that artwork is able to be enjoyed without the distracting glare found in cheaper canvas prints. Finally, all canvas prints are made using scratch-resistant Epson UltraChrome pigmented inks that are rated to resist fading for up to 200 years. Canvas prints are sold unframed and ship in a heavy-duty mailing tube.
Which to Choose
Between the two materials, canvas prints will give you the brightest product, where metal prints will be slightly darker with a distinct metallic glow. Choose metal prints if you want to hang your print as soon as it arrives. Canvas prints will require matting and framing or to be stretched on bars.
