Copyright Policy

All artwork, images, and content on www.scversillee.com (the Site) are protected by Copyright and Trademark law. S. C. Versillee (The Artist) retains all rights to artwork and artwork reproductions (the Work) created by and sold by the Artist, including but not limited to, the right to reproduce, distribute, and create derivative works.

A purchaser of the Work (the Buyer) is granted limited personal use permissions unless otherwise explicitly stated via a written licensing agreement executed by the Artist. This Copyright Policy (the Agreement) grants limited personal use permissions under the following conditions:

1. Display

The Buyer is granted the right to display the Work in their residence, place of work, or a non-commercial space. This includes the right to hang, exhibit, or otherwise showcase the Work for personal enjoyment and aesthetic purposes.

2. No Commercial Use

The Buyer is expressly prohibited from using the Work for any commercial purposes, including but not limited to, reproduction for sale, incorporation into products for sale, or public display in a commercial setting.

3. No Alterations

The Buyer may not alter, modify, or create derivative works based on the Work without the explicit written permission of the Artist.

4. No Artificial Intelligence

The Buyer shall not collect, aggregate, mine, scrape, or otherwise use the Work in datasets utilized by Generative AI Programs; in the development of Generative AI Programs; or as inputs to Generative AI Programs.

5. Non-Transferable

The personal use permissions granted under this Agreement are non-transferable. The Buyer may not sell, lease, or otherwise transfer the Work to another party without the Artist’s prior written consent.

6. Copyright Notice and Attribution

The Buyer agrees to maintain any copyright notices or attribution provided by the Artist on or in connection with the Work.

7. Ownership

This Agreement does not transfer ownership of the copyright in the Work to the Buyer. The Artist retains all rights not expressly granted in this Agreement.

8. Enforcement

In the event of any violation of this Agreement, the Artist reserves the right to seek legal remedies, including injunctive relief and damages, as provided by applicable copyright and trademark law.

By purchasing and accepting delivery of the Work, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Agreement.
