About the List
Addicted to Detail is an exclusive mailing list just for art collectors who find themselves attracted to highly detailed works of art. Think of it as a tribe of like-minded folks who get a thrill out of hunting down and owning beautiful curios and objets d’art. Through the list, super limited editions of artwork are offered in both digital and physical format.
All artwork sold through the mailing list is minted on the Cardano blockchain, this makes it NFT fine art or blockchain-based art. Minting work to a blockchain is a modern method for verifying the authenticity, limited status, and uniqueness of a piece of art.
New to NFT Art? Lovely, I’ve curated this blog just for you.
About the Artist
Hi, I’m S. C. Versillee!
I’ve been a practicing artist for over 20 years. I work in a range of mediums, with oil paint and wood being my go-to favorites. I also have a background in tech and digital design which led me into blockchain around 2017. Addicted to Detail is my personal experiment with marrying blockchain and fine art to make art collecting accessible to more art lovers. Curious about other types of art I create? FAQ
What is NFT art?
In a nutshell, NFT art is a unique physical or digital artifact minted on a blockchain. For an in-depth dive into the topic, I’ve written a series of articles to help you get up to speed. Visit this link to start reading.
What is an NFT “drop”?
A “drop” is simply the release of a new art edition. I suggest you click over to the Glossary I’ve prepared for new NFT art collectors to learn more about this and other terms related to the NFT market.
Is there a whitelist I can join?
This site’s mailing list acts as the default whitelist. By purchasing certain NFTs buyers are also able to gain access to other purchasing opportunities.
When is the next NFT art drop?
Upcoming NFT art drops are announced through the Addicted to Detail mailing list. Make sure you’re subscribed!
Do you ever do airdrops or giveaways?
No. I don’t participate in these types of promotions because they’re too often exploited by scammers. If you have anything in your wallet from me its because you purchased it. Any random NFT that appears in your wallet if you haven’t purchased it should be viewed with suspicion.
Why didn't I get a confirmation email after subscribing?
It probably went to spam. Check your spam folder, and if your confirmation email did land there, make sure to mark it as “not spam.” If you’re using Gmail, it may have also been filtered under the “Promotions” tab. Lastly, give it time. It can take up to 10-15 minutes for your first email to arrive.
Can I buy artwork with any currency other than crypto?
On my main website, www.scversillee.com, you have the option to pay in USD or cryptocurrency. However, artwork sold through the Addicted to Detail mailing list can only be purchased using cryptocurrency.
Do you only accept Cardano ($ADA) as payment?
No. You can pay for your NFT fine art in $ADA, as well as several other popular and widely used cryptocurrencies.
Can I buy your artwork anywhere else?
At this time, my main website www.scversillee.com, and the Addicted to Detail mailing list are the only official places to buy my work.
Do you sell non-NFT artwork?
As of 2023, all original artwork I sell is minted on a blockchain. If you’re looking for traditional prints and paintings you can check my main website for current available art. There you can purchase artwork and prints using USD or cryptocurrency.
